Despite having one third total shots as compared to that of Brazil in the quarterfinal round, Belgium managed to win against the last South American team. Thanks to an own goal from Fernandinho and a stunning goal from Kevin De Bruyne that confirmed a semifinal place for the red devils.
A 2-0 win against Sweden in the last round was England’s first clean sheet victory in this World Cup. Harry Maguire and Dele Alli were the goal scorers who will be remembered for the years. After the semifinal qualification, it looks like the trophy is coming home. Will it?
