The top goal scorer of La Liga receives Pichichi Trophy from the sports newspaper of Marco at the end of each season. This trophy is named after Athletic Bilbao forward Rafael “Pichichi” Moreno. Pichichi award is not officially recognized by Spanish Football Association because it is based on Marca’s subject.
