The 32 years old is currently playing for Juventus that he joined in 2015 from Atletico Madrid. He begun his senior career at Marsonia in 2004 and since then, he has played for 7 professional clubs.

Mandzukic won his first ever Champions League title with German club Bayern Munich in 2013. In the same year, he also won the UEFA Super Cup and the FIFA Club World Cup. Before moving to Juventus, he won Supercopa de Espana at the Spanish club Atletico Madrid in 2014.

While playing for Juventus, he won 3 Serie A titles, 3 Coppa Italia titles and one Supercoppa Italiana.

2014 World Cup: He played his first ever World Cup match in 2014 Brazil edition but was suspended for the first game. So played his first match of the World Cup in second match against Cameroon. It was a memorable debut of Mandzukic as he scored 2 goals in Croatia’s 4-0 win against the African side. He was “Man of the Match” on his debut World Cup. It was the only win of Croatia in that World Cup.

2018 World Cup: Mandzukic was again named in the Croatia’s squad for 2018 FIFA World Cup. He didn’t score in the first 3 group games but scored an important goal against Denmark in the round of 16 that took the game to penalties. Croatia won the game on penalties by 3-2. In the semifinal round, he scored the winning goal against England on 11 July that confirmed Croatia’s first ever final match qualification in World Cup.
