Premier League club Manchester City has won 16 consecutive games which is their best ever run in 100 years. The club was founded in 1880 and this is their best run in after 138 years. Manchester City is also enjoying the first spot in Premier League 2017-18 standings with 15 points advantage over their city rivals Manchester United. The city recently won their 16th consecutive game against Bristol City at their home ground Etihad Stadium.
On Tuesday, Manchester City welcomed Bristol City at their home ground where they claimed a 2-1 victory. Pep Guardiola’s side won the first leg of Football League Cup semi-final. They have now won 16 back to back games in a row at their home in all competitions. This record equalized their previous record which was set up between 1920-21.
